Each member of the the G.S. Long fieldstaff is equipped with many forms of technology, that can be used in the orchard.  Computerized spray recommendations are generated using an in house database developed and maintained by our consultants using information from labels and more importantly hands on experience.  Calibration of airblast and herbicide application equipment can be done in the field using programs designed by our fieldstaff.  In depth record keeping and accurate map making are a click away.  Wireless internet connections allow our fieldstaff to access websites which give up to the minute information on pest models and disease pressure and infections, not to mention the ability to fax and/or email any of the above mentioned items onto our grower base.
