Long Co.'s main office is
located in Union Gap, Washington.
However, our service area
stretches across the Yakima Valley, Columbia Basin, Horse Heaven
Hills, and Ellensburg. With our office
centrally located among these districts we are able to provide
our customer base with same day service and product delivery.
In addition to our Union Gap location we also have an
Oregon
branch which services the tree fruit districts of the Hood
River Valley.

Long Co. was founded on
customer service and we pride ourselves in being a service
orientated company. From field service to product
delivery and everything in between we offer a great deal of service to our
customers. In keeping with this tradition we have
been a proud member of the
IAP Group since 1999.
Field Consultants provide many
services to our customers.
With
combined experience of over 200 years in the field our
17 consultants offer expertise in all areas of tree fruit
and vine crop production. Some of the services our
fieldstaff provide includes:
Crop monitoring for insect and
disease pressure. Computer generated recommendations
for control of any problems found, using the most up
to date Integrated Pest Management practices
available. Soil and foliar fertilizer
recommendations. Soil fertility analysis.
Leaf and fruit nutrient analysis.
They supply current pesticide labeling,
MSDS and EPA registration information. They
also organize informative seminars, to keep
growers up to date on new products and programs.
G.S. Long Co.
provides on site product delivery to our customers.
Product delivery is a big part
of our customer service program. We use trucks of varying
sizes to accommodate all of our customers and their
various product needs. We provide
delivery service that takes orders and makes same day
deliveries, within a 100 mile radius. Our dedicated
staff of inside salesman and our experienced delivery
team are here to ensure that orders are taken and
delivered accurately, timely, and safely to your farm.
G.S. Long Co.
conducts product research and development. Our
on-going research and development program
evaluates new products for potential use in
the tree and vine market. New products and
programs go through at least three years of
consistent evaluation to prove their benefits
and crop safety before they are recommended
to customers for widespread
usage. The initial
field testing is conducted at the Long Ranch in
Naches, Washington. G.S. Long Co. also works with various chemical manufacturers
to set up test
plots for their new products and aid in their
evaluation.
