This one-day WSDA direct issued training is in-Spanish & in-person. This workshop satisfies the annual WPS

Training Requirement for any of your unlicensed employees who work directly with or around

requirement to receive a WSDA issued Handler's Card at this event.

These (20 hour) courses are in-Spanish & in-person with the exam immediately following training on day

three. These courses are designed to give your Spanish language employees their best opportunity to

successfully obtain their WSDA issued Private Applicator's License.

This is direct issued training by experienced and professional WSDA instructors.

Registration fees cover WSDA exam fees, all classroom materials, as well as on site lunches,

beverages and snacks for this three-day event.

While primarily aimed at supporting your management teams, the leadership principles offered in this course are designed to also support the personal and profession development of any of your team members.  This all-day course employs many of the core principles found within the AG Leadership Program and is led by Jacqui Gordon Nunez, Vice President of the Washington State Tree Fruit Association, and Ofelio Borges, Program Manager of WSDA’s Technical Services & Education Program.  Individual personalities, motivations and relationships can all be very dynamic, particularly in the workplace.  Our personal & professional successes are based on our ability to effectively and efficiently interact with each other.  Whether you are new to this type of training or have attended in the past, this course is intended provide attendees with emotional intelligence and actionable principles

to help build morale, pride and success stories within your operations.

Agricultural Labor Law (in-English)

​

Developed by the Worker and Farmer Labor Association (WAFLA), this track is specifically designed reduce your legal liabilities by focusing on state and federal regulations that impact agricultural employers.  This track is led by WAFLA CEO Enrique Gastulum and WAFLA Chief People & Community Officer Roxana Macias, and also involves various labor law attorneys and other regulatory professionals.  Content provided will give you a clearer picture of what your employment requirements are, and also offers the professional guidance you need to make informed decisions for your organization.  It also provides a great opportunity to learn from each other, so bring your

questions as there is ample opportunity provided for them throughout the day.
