Airblast Sprayer Best Management and Calibration
G.S. Long Company, in partnership with Washington State Department of Agriculture and Washington State University, recently hosted an Airblast Sprayer Best Management and Calibration Workshop. This is something that we normally offer a few times a year in both English and Spanish around Central Washington. This year it was only held twice - on March 3rd & 4th in Naches, WA and only in Spanish. Unfortunately, due to the coronavirus restrictions all other events had to be cancelled.
These all-day workshops provide important hands on training and classroom knowledge of calibrating air blast sprayers and drift management. Workshop participants range from people new to airblast sprayers to those with years of experience that are looking to sharpen their skills; taking the workshop for Continuing Education purposes.
This collaboration is intended to support those in attendance, their employers and the agricultural industry and we are proud to be a part of it.
A special thanks to Burrow’s Tractor for their continued equipment support, as well as WSDA, WSU and everyone who was able to attend this year!
